The Teague Band Boosters sponsor fundraisers, provide chaperones, make programs, and organizes the annual awards night. This organization raises most of the band budget each year. The officers and chairpersons, along with the band director, comprise the Band Booster Board. The Board meets monthly, or as needed to conduct business. Persons interested in serving should contact the band director immediately.
Ways You Can Help!
Parent involvement with this band program is welcome and encouraged. Download our Committee Volunteer Sheet and take the time to look this over and become involved in the band program. (Remember, all volunteers need to become Dividends and all parents driving students will need to complete the Driver’s’ License Form.)
Band Booster membership is $30.00 per family and is due at the beginning of each school year. The Teague Band Program does not receive any financial support from the school board and, by law we cannot charge a fee! Therefore, we MUST depend upon the support of the parents to join the Band Boosters as one of our most important sources of revenue.
The Fall & Spring Fundraisers – This is our only major fundraiser and our largest income source. In order to ensure a successful event, the Ways and Means chairperson works with a professional fundraising company. We select the company in the spring for the following fall fundraiser.
